1995

Prof. Dr S. Srinivas opened Align Dental Care in Shanthi Colony, Anna Nagar, in 1995, having taken his BDS and then his MDS in orthodontics at Dr MGR Medical University. Four years later he began teaching, and he has done both ever since.

A practice that has been in one place for three decades accumulates something a new one cannot buy: records. When a patient comes back after fifteen years, what was done and when is written down.

We have been consulting him for all dental issues for more than 25 yrs now.

Six specialisations, one roof

Orthodontics is what we are known for, and what our principal teaches. Around it sit five more specialisations, and the point of having them in one building is that a complicated case does not get handed around.

A patient who needs a periodontist to treat the gum before a prosthodontist can fit the crown is diagnosed once and treated in one place, by people who talk to each other about the case.
